Relax Kids Haywards Heath offers a nurturing, structured programme designed to support children’s social, emotional, and mental wellbeing in and around the Haywards Heath area. Rooted in evidence-based techniques, the sessions help children learn how to calm their minds, manage emotions, improve focus, and build confidence.
This approach is particularly beneficial for children with early signs of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and those eligible for Pupil Premium support.
Each session follows a proven 7-step model, blending movement, mindfulness, creativity, and relaxation to help children feel safe, supported, and empowered:
Move – Energising activities to awaken and engage
Play – Interactive games to encourage connection and fun
Stretch – Gentle movements to promote body awareness and focus
Feel – Calming massage techniques to explore sensation and communication
Breathe – Guided breathing for physiological regulation
Believe – Positive affirmations to build resilience and self-worth
Visualise – Deep relaxation through guided imagery and storytelling
Mindful pauses are woven between each stage, allowing for self-reflection and emotional awareness—skills that extend beyond the session and into their everyday lives.
